All the new guitars were designed and refined in Greg Bennett’s studio in Nashville.  With his new designs, Bennett painstakingly addressed the most popular fretted instrument style categories and created new guitars that in effect pay tribute to the original designs with a new and unique perspective.

Once the designs were completed, the challenge shifted to sourcing and manufacturing.  Professional-caliber electronics and hardware as well as distinctive tone woods were brought from exotic locations over the entire globe.  Woods like ovangkohl and ebony are imported from Africa, while rosewood comes from India and rock maple is brought directly from North America.  These instruments will also feature premium electronics and hardware from manufacturers like Duncan, Fishman, L.R. Baggs, Grover, and Wilkinson.

All new electric guitars will feature a compact headstock design that actually improves the performance of the guitar.  Larger headstock is more likely to resonate and rob the string of its power.  Reduced surface area helps to eliminate that energy drain. The headstock is also designed to increase string-bearing pressure at the nut to improve overall performance.  Best of all, the smaller size of headstock reduces the weight of the neck and improves the playing comfort.  The same detailed thought process that went into designing a new headstock can be found in subtle features like a new flange bridge that adds stability and increases string performance as well as the use of graphite materials for the nut to improve attack and sustain.

Every new instrument features a highly styled S logo that resolves into gentle contours on the headstock.  Each guitar will also carry the insignia “Greg Bennett designed”.  The lines include: electric solid bodies, semi-hollow electrics, jazz guitars, solid-body acoustic bass, acoustic guitars, resonator guitars, ukulele, Barcelona classic guitars, banjos and mandolins.
